Description

This project consisted of construction of a new, 8,770 sf, 450 seat sanctuary with associated narthex and restrooms. The existing sanctuary was also renovated and converted into a chapel.

The building has a structural steel frame with cold formed (light gauge) steel exterior non-load bearing curtain walls and EIFS exterior cladding.

Unique structural engineering aspects of the building design included a vaulted steel roof structure and a steel lateral force resisting system that combined K-braced frames, latticed frame columns, and gabled moment frames.
